Our Supporter Promise

Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is incredibly grateful for the fantastic support from people just like you. Maybe you or a family member / friend have experienced mental health problems and utilised our service? Or you could simply feel motivated to support our work.

Discussions surrounding the removal of the stigma of poor mental health are invaluable and we always do what we can to empower those experiencing issues to get their voice heard.

We really value the support you give us. Perhaps you have fundraised on our behalf, made a gift in your will, shopped online or donated. We thank you for whatever you have done to support us.

Our communications with you

We hope that you will want to hear more about our work. You will be able to choose how and about what we’ll contact you. If you tell us that you’d prefer not to hear from us or that there is a preference for how we contact you, we’ll ensure we take that on board.

Of course, you can change your mind about what you receive from us at any point. Just let us know.

Fundraising is important to us

We are a small charity and are really proud of what individually and collectively we are able to help achieve. We are constantly reviewing our fundraising practices to make sure they are appropriate and in line with current legislation and with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Your donation, gift, or legacy will be used responsibly to ensure that people experiencing mental health issues are empowered to get their voice heard. Any administration costs will be kept to a minimum so that we can maximize the impact of your donation. We’ll answer any question about how the donation has been spent.

Accountability to you

You can contact us via info@ascymru.org.uk at any time with feedback or with a complaint if you are unhappy with any aspect of our communication or fundraising activity. We will respond as quickly as we can.
