Nobody chooses to experience poor mental health.
We can help you understand your rights and make your voice heard.
Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity specialising in the provision of professional, confidential and independent advocacy for those eligible for our services.
Our Advocates can provide issue-specific support, inform you about your rights and help you explore options in order that your views and wishes are considered when decisions are made about you.
Advocates will not give advice, offer counselling, provide mediation or befriend. They will not judge the wishes of those they support or look to seek to persuade a client into a particular course of action.
Advocates provide information to people to help them understand what options might be available, but do not decide or advise which one to take.
Tell us what you think
It is vital that we know what you think about our services at Advocacy Support Cymru.
Through delivery of professional and quality assured advocacy, ASC provides three clear areas of advocacy support plus two specialist areas of advocacy

Our Referral Pathway flowchart will help.
Although we would like our advocacy to be available to as many people as possible, our services have certain limits which prevent us from working with all those who may want or need an advocate.
Call us on 029 2054 0444 and we will be happy to let you know whether you or the patient are eligible.
