Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) courses in June 2018
Advocacy Support Cymru is pleased to offer two new dates for its Assisted Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST is the most widely used and researched suicide intervention skills training in the world. It teaches participants to recognise when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop – anyone can learn and use the ASIST model.
Next ASIST dates available:
Mon 18 & Tue 19 June 2018
Wed 27 & Thu 28 June 2018
Venue: ASC offices in St Mellons, Cardiff – with free parking
Cost :£145 (including lunch, refreshments and all course materials)
Quote ‘Earlybird’ for £10 reduction when booking online by 31/05/18
