Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak – Advocacy service update Mar 2020
We are entering an unprecedented time amidst this Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and as a result we wanted to provide an update on our Advocacy service provision.
We would like to reassure you that all of our IMHA, IMCA and Community advocacy service provision will continue for all patients. However, as the days continue, wards are rapidly closing to visitors in order to restrict the risk of spreading the virus. In this instance, advocacy will take place via telephone conversations wherever possible.
Our Cardiff and Swansea office sites are going to be closing from Monday 23 March and all of our staff will be working from home until government advice differs. We have technology in place that allows us to operate efficiently so phone calls and emails will be responded to as normal.
Please bear with us as we adapt to a new way of working for our entire team. We will endeavour to be as responsive and supportive as we can.
