Specialist Advocacy: People with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
Eligibility Criteria
Clients need to have a formal diagnosis of either Autism or a Learning disability.
N.B. Clients currently on the Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) waiting list will still be eligible as they have referred already.
To clarify this is an 18 years plus service.
You can request the support of a specialist Advocate if you have a Learning Disability and/or Autism, receiving primary care services and fall outside of statutory or community mental health advocacy. Tel. 029 2054 0444 for more information.
ASC provides this service in the Aneurin Bevan UHB, Cardiff & Vale UHB, Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB and Swansea Bay UHB areas.
