Recognised quality of our Advocacy service

Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is proud to have held the Advocacy Quality Performance Mark (Advocacy QPM) since 2016.

The Advocacy QPM is the UK benchmark quality standard that recognises quality in independent advocacy delivery (in England, Wales and Northern Ireland). The four stage process is rigorous and ASC had to demonstrate through evidence how it met the different standards required.

Holding the the Advocacy QPM:

  • Enables ASC as an independent advocacy provider to demonstrate and promote its commitment and ability to provide high quality advocacy.
  • Gives commissioners of advocacy services reassurance that ASC has been assessed to ensure its organisation is robust and focused on ensuring delivery of quality services.
  • The QPM process also helps ASC to review, improve and develop its organisational systems, policies and practices.

ASC was recently re-assessed and is pleased to announce it has been awarded the Advocacy QPM from 2022-2025.

There are many examples of satisfied cclients on Care Opinion. These positive reviews allied with our successful acquisition of the Advocacy QPM give clients and professionals confidence and reassurance that as an Independent Advocacy provider, ASC is providing a high quality advocacy service.
