ASC is delighted to be able to now offer a two half-day Talking Mats course alongside its already successful ASIST courses.

Launched to an external market in June 2018, our ASIST courses are receiving excellent feedback, with the next two courses being nearly booked up into 2019. With an office in Llandarcy, we are able to deliver from our training facility there which opens up ASIST geographically to the Swansea / Llanelli / West Wales region. We plan to schedule further courses into 2019.

New to our offer is Talking Mats which is a low-tech, interactive resource that uses three sets of picture communication symbols – topics, options and a visual scale – and a space on which to display them. Currently, ASC has the only Independent Talking Mats trainer registered in Wales. Further information on how Talking Mats works can be found by clicking here.
