ASC Launches Appeal to Fund Suicide Intervention Services
Advocacy Support Cymru has launched a Crowdfunder appeal to raise vital funds to continue and extend our suicide intervention training programme in Wales.
ASC is an established provider of ASIST and safeTALK suicide intervention training in South Wales, with courses scheduled throughout the year.
We are currently experiencing huge demand for our suicide intervention workshops, ASIST and safeTALK as a result of the pandemic. Whilst we aim to run workshops on a monthly basis, as well as offering in-company solutions to local organisations, we are struggling to meet demand for this popular accredited course.
We need your help to continue to provide the hugely popular ASIST and safeTALK workshops, which train individuals in vital suicide first aid and intervention techniques.
The additional funding we hope to raise with this appeal will allow us to expand our training programme, raising further awareness of suicide prevention techniques and creating suicide-safer communities across Wales.
