World Mental Health Day 2017 – 10th October 2017
ASC are proud to be exhibiting in Swansea today in support of World Mental Health Day 2017.
This year the focus is on ‘Workplace Wellness’, a theme we all agree is rightly increasing in awareness and importance. This theme is particularly relevant to us in our work – we have to look after our mental health and wellbeing as we don’t want our service to our clients experiencing mental health difficulties being affected.
Members of our Llandarcy team (Hannah Pike and Rhiannon Lord) are taking part today in the annual World Mental Health Day event held in the Swansea Grand Theatre. The event is well supported by other organisations such as Swansea University, Samaritans and Hafal. The atmosphere was great this morning with plenty of people taking a look at the exhibition stands and grabbing the opportunity for a conversation. It also gave us the opportunity to display our new exhibition stands and marketing materials – with our pens and stress balls going like hot cakes!
Pop along if you have the time, the event is open until 3.30pm today.
